In July 2022, a partnership between Stratus Properties Inc. and International Capital successfully closed on the construction loan for a new Class A, 316-unit multifamily community named The Saint George in North Central Austin, Texas.

Located directly off Burnet Road, the site is strategically located between two of Austin’s hottest development markets, The Triangle and The Domain, and only a 15-minute drive to downtown.

On-site amenities for The Saint George will include a bicycle room, community workspaces, fitness room, pool and rooftop deck. 10% of the units will additionally be set aside for affordable housing.

Construction is expected to begin imminently, with a mid-2024 expected completion date.

Comerica Bank provided the four-year, $56.8 million construction loan for the project, with Arch-Con Corporation selected as the general contractor.
