International Capital LLC advises German Family Office on its fourth acquisition of an ALDI ground lease

A German Family Office, represented by International Capital, purchased an Aldi ground lease in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in June 2021.

The lease for the approx. 2.40-acre site improved with an approx. 22,000 SF grocery store started in February of 2020 and has an initial term of 20 years (plus six 5-year options). The property is situated on the main retail thoroughfare in Mechanicsburg and belongs to the top retail corridor destinations in the greater Harrisburg submarket. This “main on main” location features national brands Wegmans, Target, Giant, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Taco Bell, The Home Depot, Kohl’s, Walmart and Sam’s Club among others.

Located at the signaled intersection of Carlisle Pike and Sample Bridge Road just two miles off Interstate-81, the Aldi site has prominent frontage and two means of access.

International Capital assists this client as real estate advisor in their strategy to build a ground lease portfolio with credit tenants in well-located areas throughout the United States.
