Henderson County, Illinois – In December 2025, a German family office has successfully acquired its second tract of Class-A U.S. farmland in Henderson County, Illinois, further strengthening its agricultural investment footprint in the Midwest. The acquisition was facilitated by International Capital, marking the second transaction the firm has supported in this region for the German Family office.

The newly purchased property consists of 75 acres of Agricultural land, boasting an impressive Productivity Index of 137/147, indicative of its exceptional soil quality and yield potential. Strategically located north of the family office’s first tract acquired earlier in 2025 in Adams County, this land will be dedicated to corn and soybean production, two cornerstone crops of U.S. agriculture.

The tract was purchased at an auction attended by over 130 participants. Interest in tangible assets such as farmland has grown amid volatile markets, as investors seek stability.
