Dallas, Texas – International Capital (IC) sold for a European client a 185 acre land tract in Princeton, Texas in November 2014. The farm land located south of Hwy 380 and west of 2nd Street in Princeton, Texas was selected and purchased by IC just 18 months earlier in 2013 and sold to a local investor in the fall of 2014. During the time of ownership, IC, on behalf of its client, was responsible for the property’s annexation into the City of Princeton and the rezoning of the agricultural land to future SF2 use. This will allow for the development of up to 925 single family homes. IC was instrumental in advising the city on the new thoroughfare plan and alignment of roadways which will connect the property to US 380. Street construction is scheduled to start in 2015. A new Wal-Mart Super Center is scheduled to close on a land parcel on the corner of Hwy 380 and this future north-south thoroughfare in December 2014 and start construction of its new store shortly thereafter.
