International Capital represented a group of German Investors with the purchase of a 48-unit residential development project called “Mountain Gateway at Buckhorn Valley” in Gyspum, Colorado. The development is situated in Buckhorn Valley, a so called P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) of 950 units, located in Gypsum, Colorado, directly south of Vail Eagle County Airport (EGE). This project consists of 48 condominium units, a residential product that is currently not yet represented in this area. Each condominium has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living- and dining room and balcony or patio and a private attic. There is a great demand for affordable housing for both sale and rent. Mountain Gateway lies adjacent to the 60 acre Buckhorn Valley Wildlife Park, with a 5.5 acre lake that will be stocked and managed and will have trailheads to Hardscrabble and White River National Forest. Groundbreaking took place 2 weeks after the acquisition, the first condominiums will be move in ready at the beginning of November 2018. The well-established and highly respected brokerage firm Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate (SSFRE) is marketing the development and has successfully presold 11 residences. The remaining units will be finished in 2019.
