Steve Brown from Dallas Morning News reports on Feb. 18 that Homebuilders - especially when they can use their own money to build homes - are doing extremely well. Dallas based First Texas Homes even grew home starts 55% over 2009. However: The biggest problem is already to find reasonable lots in good neighborhoods.
In a second article "Housing shortage closer to reality than you think" Brown expects a lot shortage soon as the numbers of lots needed with the current growth just does not match up with the demand.
Paloma Creek is rated the top selling master planned community in DFW for many quarters by Residential Strategies. Nine of the top twenty builders in the North Texas market are building homes at Paloma Creek.
